Founded by the distinguished Sir Shriram, the institute formally began operations in 1950, built on his visionary belief that India's progress must be driven by the assimilation and innovation of contemporary technologies through focused research. With a strong foundation laid by Sir Shriram, the institute grew into a leading center of excellence, supported by a team of competent professionals, a seasoned and expert Governing Board, and forward- thinking management strategies. Over the decades, Dr. Bansi Dhar Institute expanded its footprint in Materials Science, pioneering innovations across diverse domains such as blood bags, cactus latex products, biomaterials, aerospace materials, electronic polymers, advanced adhesives, composites, specialty chemicals, renewable resources, radiation technologies, herbal products, waste utilization, and technical consultancy.

- Ensure that all test results are reproducible with less than 10% variation between repeated tests.
Turnaround Time:
- Achieve a reduction in the average turnaround time for test results minimum required time as per the desired standard and SOP for query free sample within six months of obtaining ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 accreditation.
- Maintain a 90% on-time delivery rate for test reports.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Achieve a customer satisfaction score of 90% or higher in annual surveys.
- Address and resolve all customer complaints within 7 business days or accordance with applicable test protocols, whichever is more suitable.
Compliance and Accreditation:
- Obtain NABL accreditation within the two years of operation.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO, FDA).
Data Integrity and Security:
- Ensure 100% data integrity and security with no breaches or data loss incidents.
- Implement a secure, compliant LIMS system by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve a 10% reduction in operational costs within the first year.
Maintain equipment uptime at 90% or higher through regular maintenance and calibration.
